Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with stage I to IV periodontitis; Gingivitis patients; patients with degree 2 and 3 dentin hypersensitivity; patients with severe pre-cleaning nervousness and dental anxiety (VAS-A>5) ; American Society of Anaesthesiologists(ASA) anaesthesia risk assessment class I - II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: otitis media, sinusitis, bowel obstruction; acute upper respiratory tract infection or other causes of dyspnea; VitB12 deficiency; substance abuse, alcoholism, severe mental illness or abnormality; claustrophobia or nasal mask intolerance; COPD, pneumothorax, and alveolar lungs; methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase deficiency; patients with severe sleep apnoea syndrome.
