60 Years to 90 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Rural permanent residents (those who are at home year-round or for more than 6 months each year); 2. Aged 60 years or older, but no older than 90 years; 3. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with mild cognitive impairment (MCI); 4. Willing to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History or current diagnosis of psychiatric disorders; 2. Loss of self-care ability; 3. Inability to engage in normal verbal communication, including hearing, speech, or vision impairments; 4. Activity limitations due to other medical conditions; 5. Previous or current use of cognition-enhancing medications; 6. History of brain injury, neurological diseases (such as Parkinson's disease, sclerosis, stroke, etc.), or alcohol intoxication that could easily lead to cognitive impairment.
