Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) According to the diagnostic criteria of neonatal respiratory failure in Practical Neonatology (5th edition); (2) The diagnosis of severe pneumonia was based on the criteria of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and Infectious Diseases Society of America. (3) All patients received tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation. (4) Qualified samples of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid obtained by bedside bronchoscopy or endotracheal intubation airway aspiration; (5) the specimen was sent for tNGS at least once; (6) sample detection by CMT method, including at least bacterial and fungal smears and cultures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) sputum samples that have not passed tNGS quality control, such as sequences of human origin exceeding 99%; (2) Sample leakage and contamination; (3) Incomplete clinical history; (4) Exclude serious congenital diseases (such as severe congenital heart disease, congenital malformations, etc.), chromosomal abnormalities, or genetic abnormalities.
