Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Depression group: (1) Diagnosed with depressive disorders according to DSM-5; (2) HAMD-17 total score = 8; (3) Han ethnicity, right-handed, aged 18-60, with at least primary education; (4) Signed informed consent for participation. Healthy control group: (1) Han ethnicity, right-handed, aged 18-60, with at least primary education; (2) HAMD-17 total score < 7; (3) Signed informed consent for participation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Depression group: (1) History of infection, fever, or allergies in the past two weeks; (2) Presence of serious physical illnesses, especially neurological disorders; (3) Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; (4) History of other psychiatric disorders; (5) Use of immunomodulators or hormonal medications in the past six months. Healthy control group: History of psychiatric disorders, with other criteria being the same as the depression group.
