Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed with sepsis; 2.Aged 50 years or over; 3.Patients are willing to take part in this trial and willing to sign inform content.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.The mini-mental state examination (MMSE) score of less than 24 or dementia; 2.History of neurological or mental illness; 3.Current use of tranquillizers or antidepressants; 4.History of chest trauma or receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation, electrical defibrillation, coronary stent implantation; 5.Pregnancy or lactating; 6.Alcohol or drug dependence; 7.Needle phobia.
