Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (aged = 18 years) admitted to our comprehensive ICU and emergency ICU with sepsis as the main diagnosis are referred to the sepsis 3.0 diagnostic criteria for sepsis diagnosis; Patients who have been discharged from the ICU or transferred to a regular ward after treatment and improvement of their condition; The patient or their guardian agrees to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of stroke, TBI, epilepsy, intracranial infection, intracranial tumor, etc; 2. Previous history of psychiatric disorder or CNS degenerative diseases, such as depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, etc.; 3. died during ICU stay; 4. length of ICU stay < 48 hours; 5.Impaired verbal communication; 6. multiple ICU admission during the hospitalization; 7. transferred to other ICU
