Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The tumor is less than 5 cm from the anal margin; 2. Laparoscopically assisted combined abdominal perineal resection of rectal cancer (APR); 3. Complete clinical data; 4. The preoperative pathological diagnosis was rectal adenocarcinoma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgery; 2. Previous anal surgery; 3. Preoperative diagnosis of distant (liver, lung, etc.) metastasis; 4. Combined with intestinal obstruction; 5. Patients who switched to open surgery for various reasons during surgery; 6. Those who refuse to experiment.
