Interventions

Life Review Group:On the basis of routine care, late stage cancer patients and family caregivers receive paired remote life review interventions once a week, for a total of 4 times, each lasting 40-60
Friendship Visit Group:On the basis of routine care, we will receive 4 WeChat video friendly interviews of 40-60 minutes each time, once a week, to understand the patients daily living conditions, exp
Control Group:Accept routine care provided by medical staff to patients and family caregivers, including in-hospital health education, medication guidance, dietary guidance, symptom care, and function

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria were as follows: ? The pathological diagnosis is colorectal cancer, and the tumor stage is stage III-IV (according to the American Cancer Society AJCC 8th edition); ? Patients are aware of their disease diagnosis, condition, and treatment; ? Age = 18 years old; ? Having intelligent mobile communication devices and possessing the most basic operational capabilities; ? No communication barriers; ? Informed consent and voluntary participation in the study. 2.The inclusion criteria for family caregivers were: ? Immediate relatives of the patient, including parents, children, spouse, brothers and sisters, etc.; ? When there are several primary caregivers at the same time, the patient shall designate one caregiver as the survey subject; ? Continuously taking care of patients for = 1 month, with an average care time of = 3 hours/day; ? Age = 18 years old; ? Informed consent and voluntary participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The exclusion criteria included (1)severe disability or diagnosis with a rapid-deterioration disease (Karnofsky performance status <40%),(2) current use of anxiolytics or antidepressants, (3) participation in other psychotherapeutic programs, (4)diagnosed with psychiatric history, impaired consciousness, communication disorder and mental retardation. 2. The family caregiver exclusion criteria were: (1) diagnosed with psychiatric history, impaired consciousness, communication disorder and mental retardation,(2)with a history of or current mental illness.
