Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASD group study subjects: ? aged 2 to 10 years old, regardless of gender; ? met the diagnostic criteria for autism as stipulated in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5); ? scores on the autism-related scales: a total score of >30 points on the CARS-2 scale, and a total sum of the scores on the ADOS-2 scale indicative of typical autism and autism spectrum disorders; ? had stable medical conditions, and were able to cooperate with each other in completing related assessment; ? Subjects' parents or their legal guardians agreed to participate and signed an informed consent form with detailed knowledge of the study. Control group study subjects: (1) aged 2 to 10 years old, regardless of gender; (2) with normal development and no abnormal behaviors; (3) whose parents or legal guardians agreed to participate in the study and signed an informed consent form after learning about the study in detail.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ASD group study subjects: (1) childhood schizophrenia; (2) attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; (3) language delay, developmental delay (or mental retardation); (3) other genetic disorders, significant sensory or motor nerve damage; (4) visual impairment, eye movement limitation and unwillingness to cooperate. Control group study subjects: those who could not participate in the test due to psychiatric symptoms, thinking or visual impairment, limited eye movement and unwillingness to cooperate, etc.
