Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who intend to undergo cardiac surgery and intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) monitoring; 2. Patients aged 18 years or older; 3. Patients with ASA I-IV; 4. Patients who have provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient and family members declined participation in the study; 2. Patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, second and third degree atrioventricular block, left bundle branch block, and right bundle branch block; 3. Patients with a history of myocardial disease and myocardial infarction; 4. Patients who require preoperative mechanical circulatory support, aortic balloon counterpulsation, and pacemaker implantation; 5. Patients with contraindications for transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) included patient refusal, active upper gastrointestinal bleeding, esophageal obstruction or stenosis, esophageal mass lesion, esophageal tear and perforation, esophageal diverticulum, esophageal hiatal hernia, congenital esophageal malformation, recent esophageal surgery, pharyngeal abscess, and pharyngeal mass lesion.
