Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult critically ill patients who underwent emergency chest and abdominal or brain CT screening before or after the ICU, rapidly performed multiple myocardial enzyme markers (MIM) measurements on initial blood testing and were diagnosed with non-shock sepsis-related myocardial injury at the ICU for> 24 hours were included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) We excluded those critical ill patients who were either death or automatically out of the ICU due to family asked to give up treatment within the first 24 hours. (2) Patients with elevated MIM due to non sepsis related diseases were not included in this study.
