10 Years to 20 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Patients with temporomandibular joint disorder stage 3 and above; (2)Age 10-20 years old; (3)Maxillofacial deformities such as mandibular deviation or retrognathia; (4)No history of trauma or surgery in the temporomandibular joint in the past; (5)Using open disc reduction and suturing surgery or arthroscopic disc reduction and suturing surgery; (6)12 months of clinical and imaging follow-up; (7)Surgery is performed by the same senior physician with extensive surgical experience.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Joint discs have not been repositioned or are poorly repositioned; (2)Missing follow-up or incomplete clinical and imaging follow-up data; (3)Simultaneous orthognathic surgery or other surgeries; (4)With systemic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, tumours or trauma.
