Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA grade II to III; 2. initial gastroscopic pathology with a definitive diagnosis of esophageal squamous carcinoma; 3. receiving preoperative neoadjuvant therapy; 4. patients who underwent surgery for esophageal cancer from January 2020 to December 2023 at our institution.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Combination of severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, cerebral and immune system diseases (e.g. NYHA cardiac function = grade III, FEV1%pred <50%, Child Pugh classification = grade C, blood creatinine =177umol/L, etc.); 2. combined history of other malignant tumors; 3. patients with distant metastases.
