Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CAI Group: 1). Can engage in physical activities and have good current health; 2). Aged between 18-30 years old; 3). Have a history of acute ankle sprain, at least 2 episodes of recurrent sprain and/or "giving way" within the past 12 months, and report feeling unstable in the ankle; 4). CAIT =27 ; Healthy Group: 1). Can engage in physical activities and have good health, with the right lower limb as the dominant side; 2). Aged between 18-30 years old; 3). Have no history of acute ankle sprain; 4). CAIT =28 ;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1). Have experienced an acute lower limb injury or head injury within the past 3 months. 2). Are currently taking medications that may affect cognition or balance (such as anesthesia, antidepressants/anxiolytics). 3). Have a history of lower limb surgery or fracture, or other potential issues that may affect ankle movement or balance. 4). Have known balance disorders or vestibular disorders, and/or other neurological, vestibular, cognitive deficits, concussions, or other related conditions.
