50 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy adults (without major diseases, major surgery, hospitalization history in five years); 2. Aged 50 to 65 years old, both male and female adults; 3. Body Mass Index (BMI) < 28kg/m^2; 4. Normal liver and kidney functions; 5. Normal or borderline elevated blood glucose without medication; 6. Normal or borderline elevated lipid profiles without medication; 7. Normal or borderline elevated blood pressure without medication; 8. Willingness to participate in this trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of surgery for gastrointestinal disease, of acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders within past five years; 2. Chronic disease (such as diebetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and etc,); 3. Antibiotic use in last 6 months; 4. Regular consumption of fermented products (Yogurt, kimchi, wine, yellow wine, fermented tea and other fermented products, more than four times a week); 5. Have participated in any clinical trials within the past 6 months; 6. Refusal to participate in this trial or inability to complete the trial as expected (such as illness, medication, poor compliance, etc.); 7. Teachers and staff from the School of Public Health at Southeast University who have a vested interest in this project.
