Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18-80 years old; (2) Confirmed persistent atrial fibrillation by Holter electrocardiogram; (3) Willing to undergo radiofrequency ablation treatment for the first time and have signed the surgical consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation; (2) Severe organic heart disease (severe mitral regurgitation, dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and other severe valvular diseases); (3) Patients with congenital heart disease or patent foramen ovale, who have undergone closure or surgical repair; (4) Post-artificial valve implantation; (5) With contraindications to systemic anticoagulation; (6) History of stroke due to any reason within the last 3 months; (7) History of bleeding within the last 30 days or a previous high risk of bleeding; (8) Platelet count 3 times the upper limit of normal (ULN); (13) Life expectancy less than 1 year; (14) Previous implantation of any type of pacemaker or left atrial appendage closure device; (15) Acute myocardial infarction or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) within the last 3 months, or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) within the last 6 months; (16) Previous catheter ablation for arrhythmias (including atrial fibrillation); (17) Left atrial anteroposterior diameter >= 50mm measured by parasternal long-axis view; (18) Left ventricular ejection fraction < 40% or in a state of decompensated heart failure.
