Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Meets the diagnostic criteria for ischemic stroke and swallowing disorders. 2.Within 1 month of the onset of stroke. 3.The Wakuda Water-Swallowing Test is rated as level 3 to 5. 4.Age between 40 and 80 years. 5. The mother tongue is Chinese. 6.Judged as right-handed based on the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory (EHI). 7.Stable vital signs, capable of understanding and cooperating with the study. 8.Patient or legal representative willing to sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Ndividuals with swallowing disorders caused by other diseases, such as head and neck cancer, oropharyngeal diseases, etc.; 2.Those who had pre-existing swallowing disorders before the onset of the current stroke; 3.Expected survival time less than 3 months; 4.Patients with medullary infarction; 5.Individuals with a history of diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage or brain tumor causing abnormal brain MRI structure; 6.Patients with contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging, such as the presence of internal metal implants, cochlear implants, or claustrophobia, etc.; 7.Anxiety Self-rating Scale (SAS) score =50 and Depression Self-rating Scale (SDS) score =50; 8.Those who have received acupuncture treatment within 48 hours.
