Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 18 years or older; (2) patients requiring tracheotomy surgery; (3) informed consent and voluntary participation in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe immune dysfunction or on immunosuppressive therapy; (2) patients with preoperative tracheotomy site infections.
