10 Years to 14 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria are: (1) age ranging from 10 to 14 years old; (2) participants at the growth stage, with Risser sign scores ranging from 0 to 3; (3) for female participants, pre-menarche or less than 1-year post menarche; (4) participants with moderate curves, defined as a Cobb angle of the main curve ranging from 20° to 45°.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are participants with: (1) other spinal-related diseases (e.g., herniated intervertebral disk); (2) sensitive/fragile skin that was unable to withstand the applied pressure; and (3) body mass index (BMI) > 25 kg/m2.
