Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The selected patients need to sign informed consent; 2. The patients diagnose diabetes according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus; 3. All patients must be aged >= 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute complications of recent diabetes: diabetic ketoacidosis, lactic acidosis, hyperosmolar coma, etc.; 2. Other reasons affecting bone metabolism: trauma, local inflammation or infection, abnormal parathyroid hormone, etc.; 3. Other types of diabetes: type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes; 4. Pregnant or lactating women; 5. Patients with acute and chronic infectious diseases or cancer
