Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) 18 ~ 60 years old; (2) Periodontitis patients are classified as stage II or III, with grade B or C: depth of probing (PD) = 5 mm, loss of attachment (CAL) at the site with the heaviest attachment loss on the adjacent surface = 3 mm, and absorption of alveolar bone shown on X-ray; (3) More than 20 fully erupted teeth in the entire mouth (excluding wisdom teeth); (4) The patient has good oral hygiene and good compliance; (5) At least 4 non adjacent points in the maxillary jaw with PD = 5mm and CAL = 2mm;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with active dental caries, dental pulp or periapical disease, oral mucosal disease, wisdom tooth pericoronitis or other oral and maxillofacial diseases; (2) Women who plan to conceive in the short term, pregnant women, and breast feeding period woman; (3) Smokers; (4) Those undergoing orthodontic treatment; (5) Uncontrolled diabetes and coronary heart disease or other systemic illnesses; (6) Having used local or systemic antibiotics in the past 3 months; (7) Conducted periodontal treatment within the past 6 months.
