Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) good oral hygiene status, periodontal health, third molar free of caries and willingness to extraction; (2) poor periodontal conditions with or without chronic periodontitis requiring manual subgingival scaling; (3) patients with oral submucosal fibrosis, oral leukoplakia, oral lichen planus and other mucosal lesions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged over 60 years old; 2. Third molar caries or inflammation; 3. Patients with chronic periodontitis without manual subgingival scaling; 4. Patients with low immunity are not suitable for invasive treatment; 5. Patients with lesions that are prone to spread and not suitable for biopsy or sampling.
