Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) ASA classification I-III 2) Age = 65 years 3) Elective surgery where subarachnoid block anesthesia is expected to be performed 4) No use of immunosuppressants, hormonal drugs, antimicrobials, or other medications or modalities that may affect oral flora in the week prior to sampling
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Dementia patients 2) Those who are unable to communicate due to coma, hearing impairment, or speech disorders 3) People with a clear history of previous neurological disease, psychiatric illness, or personality abnormalities, such as schizophrenia, depression, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, etc. 4)History of drug dependence and alcoholism 5) History of long-term hormone use
