Interventions

Pulsed Field Ablation (Group A):Pulmonary vein isolation with pulsed field ablation for atrial fibrillation was performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation and analgesia.
Conventional Radiofrequency Ablation (Group B):Traditional radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation was performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation and analgesia.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.1. A definite diagnosis of atrial fibrillation is made by electrocardiogram (ECG) and/or ambulatory electrocardiogram monitoring. 1.2 Informed consent is obtained.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 2.1 Transesophageal echocardiography or/and CT left atrial contrast examination confirms the presence of thrombus in the left atrium (LA) or left atrial appendage (LAA). 2.2 History of stroke or TIA within the last 3 months, or the presence of definite neurological deficit symptoms. 2.3 Contraindications for MRI examination, such as post-pacemaker implantation, claustrophobia, etc. 2.4 History of atrial fibrillation catheter ablation surgery. 2.5 Concurrent severe diseases, such as liver and kidney insufficiency, severe respiratory dysfunction. 2.6 Hemorrhagic diathesis and intolerance to heparin and oral anticoagulants. 2.7 Pregnancy.
