Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient was initially diagnosed with colorectal cancer and had a colostomy after surgery 2. Both the patient and the caregiver were =18 years old 3. The caregiver is the partner, child of the patient or friends 4. The caregiver was responsible for taking care of the patient and the daily care of the stoma, and took care of the patient for more than 4 hours every day
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. One of the duo had moderate or severe cognitive impairment with a Mini-Mental State Examination total score < 20 2. One of the dyad has recently participated in or is engaged in any other research or psychosocial intervention 3. Patients have a life expectancy of less than 6 months or severe comorbidities Patients with high degree of independence or minimal need for assistance after surgery, modified Rankin scale score < 3 5. The relationship between the caregiver and the patient is an employment relationship 6. Caregivers were trained in stoma care
