Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Conform to the overlap syndrome (EBV encephalitis and GFAP - A), EBV encephalitis or GFAP - A diagnosis; 2: A comprehensive examination was performed by a neurologist to exclude other infectious causes of encephalitis and encephalopathy; 3: No other diagnosis or other central nervous system disease could be used to explain the patient's clinical presentation; 4: Informed patient consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: The time from the onset of symptoms to the first lumbar puncture was delayed by 2 weeks or more; 2: Other pathogens or antibody to cell surface antigen in the serum or cerebrospinal fluid
