Post-Cardiac Surgery Patients

Interventions

Experimental group: Individualized PEEP group :Individualized positive end-expiratory pressure was titrated using the electrical impedance tomography technique.
Control group: Fixed PEEP group:Patients in this group were treated with a fixed positive end-expiratory pressure level of 6 cm H2O.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent off-pump CABG from June 2023 to November 2023 and were transferred to the ICU.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.General exclusion criteria: patients <18 years of age, presence of spontaneous respiration, haemodynamic instability, pneumothorax, thoracic deformity, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, skin damage or compromised electrode tether contact with skin due to wound dressings. 2.Additional exclusion criteria: pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients wearing pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.
