6 Years to 14 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) normodivergent skeletal class III patients with anterior crossbite or edge to edge (22°=FMA=32°); (2) ANB<0° with Steiner analysis or/and maxillary retrognathism with Coben analytical method; (3) skeletal maturation stage CVM1 to CVM3; and (4) No cleft lip or palate, no history of orthodontic treatment, no systemic diseases, no severe craniofacial deformities or temporomandibular joint disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Systemic diseases, syndromes, congenital abnormalities; (2) Orthodontic treatment history; (3) Severe facial deviation; (4) History of jaw trauma.
