Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age >= 18 years; (2) No distant metastases (M0) detected; (3) Resection via R0; (4) The extent of surgery was proximal gastrectomy; (5) Digestive tract reconstruction by esophagogastric anastomosis; (6) The esophagogastric anastomosis was performed using the slit method anastomosis technique; (7) The information was complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with incomplete clinical information; (2) Those undergoing emergency surgery/inadequate preoperative preparation; (3) Those with intraoperative findings of invasion of neighboring organs; (4) Patients whose GI reconstruction method is not clearly documented in the surgical record or who have undergone other GI reconstruction methods; (5) Those who did not use the slit anastomosis technique during GI reconstruction.
