18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Fracture of long bone (femur, tibia and fibula) of single lower limb. (2) Adult (=18 years old). (3) The fracture was in the acute stage (time of onset =14 days).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Combined with other fractures. (2) Fractures of both lower limbs. (3) Internal and external malleolar fractures. (4)Combined with malignant tumor. (5) Terminal chronic diseases (kidney failure, heart failure, liver failure). (6) Active period of hepatitis B, tuberculosis, syphilis, HIV and other infectious diseases. (7) Had a history of surgery or anticoagulant drugs within 3 months prior to admission. (8)The fractured lower extremity has a history of previous operations. (9) Ultrasound assessment of the lower extremity veins on the injured side was not or incomplete performed after hospital admission. (10) Pregnancy, schizophrenia, systemic lupus erythematosus. (11) Incomplete case data or not appropriate for inclusion in the study.
