Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 18 years or older. 2. Patients diagnosed with Thyroid-Associated Ophthalmopathy (TAO) by a physician based on clinical symptoms and laboratory examination. 3. Willing and able to provide written informed consent to participate in the study. 4. Capable of cooperating to complete all scheduled clinical assessments and questionnaires. 5. Free from severe cardiac, renal, or hepatic diseases that might affect the interpretation of the study results. 6. Without other ocular diseases or conditions that could interfere with the assessment or treatment of TAO symptoms. 7. Agree to follow the follow-up schedule stipulated by the study during the research period. 8. Female patients must not be pregnant or nursing. 9. Patients have good compliance and are able to follow up regularly as required by the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Adolescents under the age of 18 or elderly individuals over the age of 75. 2. History of ocular surgery, including but not limited to cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, or retinal surgery. 3. Presence of active ocular infection or inflammation. 4. Contraindication for the use of immunosuppressants or systemic corticosteroid therapy. 5. Severe systemic diseases, such as uncontrolled diabetes, heart failure, or significant hepatic or renal dysfunction. 6. History of psychiatric disorders or cognitive impairment that may affect participation in the study and follow-up. 7. Currently using medications that may affect the course of TAO or the effectiveness of treatment. 8. Patients whom the investigator deems unsuitable for the study for other reasons.
