Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patients who underwent surgery at the Department of Cardio-Vascular Surgery, at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University (High-Tech Branch) between October 1,2017and October 1,2023 are included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) A patient who is younger than 18 years old. (2) A patient who has preoperative renal dysfunction. Preoperative renal dysfunction is defined as creatinine greater than 1.6 mg/dL in men or 1.4 mg/dL in women or patients requiring dialysis treatment. (3) A patient who has a personal history of malignant tumors. (4) A patient who has a history of major surgery such as thoracotomy and laparotomy. (5) A patient who has a history of atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, and interventional surgery. (6) A patient who has missing data on perioperative creatinine.
