Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Family members and patients consented to participate in this study. (2) Patients scheduled for pancreatic surgery who agree to postoperative use of patient-controlled analgesia pump. (3) Age > 60 years old. (4) Patients without severe hearing or visual impairment and able to read.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patient or family refusal to participate in this study. (2) Severe diseases affecting cardiovascular, respiratory, hepatic, renal, or central nervous systems. (3) Life expectancy less than 12 months. (4) MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination) score less than 23. (5) Currently using sedatives, antidepressants, or corticosteroids. (6) Alcohol or drug abuse. (7) Difficulty in follow-up or poor compliance.
