Dexmedetomidine group:Dexmedetomidine 0.4µg/kg was infused for 10 min before induction of anesthesia, and 0.4 ug/kg/h was infused continuously during the operation, until half an hour before the end o
Control group:The same amount of normal saline was infused over a period of 10 minutes prior to anesthesia induction, and an equivalent volume of normal saline was continuously administered throughout

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged >=65 years, scheduled for lower extremity orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia, with an expected surgical duration of >1 hour.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgery; 2. Those who have not been well controlled by hypertension level 3; 3. Sick sinus syndrome, conduction block or sinus bradynasty (heart rate < 60 beats/min); 4. Severe anemia (hemoglobin < 7.0 g/dl); 5. Systemic infection before surgery; 6. Preoperative liver disease (Child-Pugh grade C); 7. Patients on dialysis with preoperative renal failure.
