Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Head and neck squamous carcinoma was diagnosed histologically; 2. The tumour stage was any T or N stage, M0 (AJCC 8th); 3. Patients who accepted undergoing biopsy or surgical resection for suspicious lymph nodes to obtain a pathological diagnosis; 4. Patients who accepted that ultrasound follow-up for at least 6 months for lymph nodes which did not undergo biopsy or surgery (negative preoperative examination or pathology of biopsy was benign); 5. Patients who had complete clinical and pathological data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other malignant tumors; 2. Patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (such as hypertension, coronary heart disease) or allergy to protein were not suitable for CEUS with perfluorobutane; 3. Patients <18 years old, Pregnant or lactating women.
