Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers over 18 years old who plan to travel to areas above 3000 meters above sea level.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) history of high altitude exposure (=2500 meters) within the last 3 months; (2) suffering from any acute or chronic physical or mental illness; (3) SpO2 <95% in the plains; (4) habitual smoking or alcohol abuse; and (5) upper extremity or hand affecting measurement. (6) History of previous cardiopulmonary disease, chronic illness, or recent administration of medications affecting the cardiovascular system.
