Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Planned cardiac surgery under general anesthesia and extracorporeal circulation (2) ASA III-IV level (3) The ability to listen, read, and cooperate with neuropsychological tests is normal (4) Voluntary signing of informed consent form (5) Preoperative Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score = 24 points

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) I or my guardian refuse to participate in the experiment; (2) The patient has severe visual, hearing, and language impairments that prevent them from cooperating with neuropsychological tests; (3) Suffering from functional or organic diseases of the intestinal system such as irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis; (4) The patient has been taking psychotropic drugs for a long time, continuously taking antibiotic preparations for more than 7 days within 3 months, and taking probiotics orally within 3 months; (5) Suffering from neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's syndrome; (6) Patients with mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety disorders; (7) Patients with a history of stroke or other organic encephalopathy; (8) Patients who are currently or have previously suffered from malignant tumors; (9) Abnormal thyroid function, liver and kidney function of the patient; (10) The patient's anesthesia and surgical plan violated the standards; (11) Patients with sepsis or other serious complications during the perioperative period
