Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients who underwent general surgery at West China Hospital of Sichuan University from January 2019 to July 2021. Major general surgery was defined as intraperitoneal approach (including biliary, gastric, intestinal, liver, pancreatic, splenic, and liver transplant surgeries performed under general anesthesia with operation duration no less than 120 min.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age <18 years old; 2. Operation duration <120 min; 3. ASA grade higher than IV; 4. Patients with preoperative end-stage renal dysfunction (eGFR<60); 5. Patients whose main indicators (preoperative and postoperative creatinine values) were missing from the medical record system.
