Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: They were included in the study if at least one of the following criteria was met: 1) renal tuberculosis was clearly diagnosed by pathologic findings; 2) treatment with anti-tuberculosis drugs was effective; and 3) renal tuberculosis was diagnosed by a combination of clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, and imaging.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from this study if one of the following conditions was met: 1) pathological findings did not support the diagnosis of renal tuberculosis; 2) patient diagnostic and treatment data were missing; 3) patients with concomitant urological malignancies; 4) patients with severe impairment of renal function limited to dialysis in hospitals; and 5) renal tuberculosis was a non-primary diagnosis, with other serious urological diseases.
