18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-75 years old 2. Patients with peripheral OSAS were diagnosed by sleep breathing monitoring 3. Can withstand carotid body function test 4. Ultrasonography can clearly identify the carotid body and measure the patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with mixed or central OSAS 2. Patients identified by pulmonary function tests as having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 3. Patients with heart failure whose NYHA heart function rating is Grade III and above 4. Patients with medically difficult to control hypertension (systolic blood pressure =140mmHg or/and diastolic blood pressure =90mmHg) 5. Patients with pulmonary embolism or pulmonary hypertension 6. Patients who cannot tolerate or have contraindications for CB functional testing 7. Ultrasonography cannot detect patients with carotid bodies 8. Patients who do not want to participate in the program 9. Patients who are unable or unwilling to receive cPAP therapy (cPAP Intervention Trial)
