65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ?Participants aged between 65 and 80 years; ?Residing in Chongming District, Shanghai; ?Older people diagnosed with sarcopenia according to the AWGS 2019 and healthy elderly people; ? Previously had no regular exercise habits (defined as exercising more than three times per week for over 90 minutes), had no physical disability, and were able to move independently and autonomously; and ?Willing to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?Participants suffering from severe cognitive disorders, psychiatric disorders or other neurological disorders; ?Participants experiencing severe visual impairment, hearing impairment or speech communication disorder; ?Participants with physical disabilities or motor disorders that prevent them from walking independently, as well as those who have udergone artificial joint replacement or sustained a fracture within three months; ?Participants suffering from heart disease, patients with cerebral infarction or malignant tumors; ?Participants with implanted stents or with pacemakers; ?Participants with uncontrolled hypertension; ?Poor compliance or unwillingness to participate in experimental studies; ?Participants who had used antibiotics in the month before stool sample collection or had a history of inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal surgery, or cancer.
