10 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosed with AIS; (2) Aged 10 years or over; (3) Risser sign with 0-2 level; (4) Cobb degrees 20-45°; (5) No prior treatment; (6) If female, either premenarchal or less than one year postmenarchal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Subjects with contraindications to exercise or stretching, like cardiopulmonary dysfunctions, systematic infection, uncontrolled metabolic diseases, mental problems, or neuromuscular problems; (2) The presence of a spinal pathology other than AIS or subjects who had undergone previous spinal surgery; (3) Refuse to participate in the experiment.
