Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) From December 01, 2022 to June 31, 2024, children with sepsis who meet the 2005 international standards for sepsis in children (including children with sepsis shock identified at first diagnosis); Children with sepsis and/or septic shock who have undergone or have retroactively undergone the diagnostic criteria (PSS) of the 2024 International Consensus Standard: Sepsis and Septic Shock in Children; (2) Age: 2-12 years old (0-18 years old is encouraged to expand the collection range if there are insufficient cases in a single center); ? During the same period of collection: the first sepsis diagnosed in our unit; Sepsis transferred from external units (including shock children); (4) The diagnosis and treatment is not affected by the patient's family attitude of complete clinical data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Incomplete data ? traumatic and/or post-operative sepsis ? cases receiving only humanitarian care
