Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of Perimenopausal Central Obesity; 2) Age between 40 and 60 years old; 3) Have not received weight loss treatment within 3 months; 4) Signed an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Secondary obesity: Hypothalamic syndrome, pituitary adenomas, Cushing's syndrome, hypothyroidism, insulinoma, polycystic ovary syndrome;2) Abnormalities of the uterus or ovaries, or individuals who have undergone hysterectomy or oophorectomy, as well as those who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 3) Comorbidities including hyperthyroidism, diabetes, malignant tumors, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, hematopoietic system disorders, mental illnesses, and other severe diseases; 4) No use of antibiotics, probiotics, or gastrointestinal motility drugs within the past 3 months; 5) Contraindications for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); 6) Poor compliance, or other conditions not suitable for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment.
