Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) All cases were diagnosed with liver cirrhosis according to the 2015 Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B and the unified criteria proposed by Anthony; (2) Cases assessed by gastroscopy as having a history of severe varicose vein bleeding and/or refractory ascites that meet the indications for TIPS surgery and have completed the surgery; (3) Liver function in Child-B/A or C-grade is less than 12 points; (4) The case data is complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with liver cancer or with gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer and other malignant tumors confirmed by histopathology or CT or MRI; (2) Patients with Budd Chiari syndrome; (3) Patients with cirrhosis combined with systemic lupus erythematosus, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other inflammatory bowel diseases; (4) Cirrhosis combined with hematological system; (5) Severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction; (6) Previous history of hepatic brain disease.
