Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-69 years old, no gender limit; 2. No underlying diseases in the body; 3. Impacted mandibular third molar; 4. Preoperative CBCT shows that at least one root of the mandibular third molar directly compresses or surrounds the mandibular canal. The root shape is curved, twisted, or enlarged (non-tapered root), and there is no bone between the root and the mandibular canal. separated.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute inflammation period or any other contraindications for surgery; 2. Suffering from neurological diseases or taking drugs that affect nervous system function; 3. There is sensory impairment of lower lip or tongue function before surgery; 4. CBCT shows distal resorption of the adjacent mandibular second molar.
