Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. aged between 18 and 26 years old, regardless of gender. 2. have recurrent, non-traumatic, bilateral neck and shoulder pain and discomfort with muscle tension and stiffness, with pain lasting or recurring for >3 months. 3. have a pain intensity of =3 on the visual analog scale (VAS) . 4. the examination of the neck and shoulder muscles with localized pressure pain, stiffness, muscle striation, limited mobility and other signs, but no upper limb muscle strength, muscle tone, sensation, reflex abnormalities, brachial plexus nerve pull test, head pressure test, Hawkins test, empty can test are negative. 5. Those who voluntarily participated in this study and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: 1. those who have had treatment for neck and shoulder pain in the last month, including any analgesic medication. 2. those with acute injuries, infections or open wounds. 3. those with a history of neck surgery or a history of head and neck trauma (i.e., neck sprain). 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with menstrual pain, neck and shoulder pain before or after menstruation, or pain in other parts of the body. 5. Patients with proven presence of other pathologic changes in the cervical, thoracic, or shoulder joints. 6. Patients with the following diseases: obvious signs of cervical spondylosis; osteoporosis; fracture hematoma; acute cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease; connective tissue disease; rheumatoid or osteoarthritis; cancer circulatory problems; peripheral vascular disease; epilepsy; headache, temporomandibular joint disorder.
