Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA <=2), aged 60 years or older, Body Mass Index (BMI) between 19 and 25 kg/m2 spinal cord injury

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to anesthetic drugs Anticipated difficult airway preoperatively Upper airway obstruction (foreign body in the airway, snoring, etc.) Abnormalities of the nasopharynx (sinusitis, turbinate hypertrophy, deviated nasal septum, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, etc.) Other diseases affecting normal ventilation Skull base fracture or suspicion thereof Gastroesophageal reflux, high gastric pressure
