18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: [1] age greater than 18 years; [2] newly diagnosed esophageal carcinoma; [3] no history of deep vein thrombosis; and [4] no previous history of other malignant tumors.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: [1] death within 48 h after admission; and [2] significant missing or incomplete clinical data
