Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a) Aged between 18 and 65 years old; b) Meeting the diagnosis criteria for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) according to ICD-10 and confirmed through the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I.). c) Education level of junior high school or above; d) Scoring 7 or higher on the GAD-7 scale; e) Not having used any psychotropic medications previously. If already taking medication, the dosage must have been stable for the 3 months prior to enrollment. f) Willing to participate in either group Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy or group Psycho-Educational Therapy for mental health.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Illiterate or having a low education level (unable to complete self-report assessments and homework); b) Presence of potentially life-threatening mental illness or severe physical illness (e.g., psychosis, suicidal ideation, terminal illness); c) Presence of conditions or illnesses that are expected to significantly impact compliance (e.g., psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, intellectual disabilities, pregnancy, or planning for pregnancy); d) Currently undergoing individual psychotherapy or other group psychotherapy; e) Regular meditation or yoga practice in the past
